Fleur-de-Lis Celebration Dinner - Nov. 3, 2017 - Join BGHS members and local history lovers 6 p.m., Nov. 3, 2017, at the Kankakee Country Club for a celebration of colonial French, French Canadian and Belgium history.  The Honorable Eric Marquise, delegate of the government of Quebec to the Midwest will attend.


A traditional French Canadian dinner will be served. An award ceremony to honor an outstanding contribution in local heritage preservation (nominations accepted thru Oct. 1, 2017) and entertainment will follow. Details and reservation form.Reservations are due by Oct. 16, 2017.


Les Artisans Fair - Dec 2, 2017, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.at the Kankakee Fairgrounds.  Artists and fine crafters showcase their products at this quality show, which is the main fundraiser for BGHS.
