BGHS accepts items of local historic value for its museum, as well as monetary donations.
The log structure that stood at 493 S. Main Street from 1837 to 2011 was Bourbonnais Grove's first school and a meeting place for Methodist circuit riders. After 1848 it was home to several notable Bourbonnais residents. The hand-hewn logs from the demolished structure were preserved and are in storage awaiting funds.
Your donation will help restore this unique and historic building on the Letourneau Home Museum grounds.
Your time and energy are precious contributions to the preservation of our community's local history.
