This long-running show has relocated and changed the date to try to better serve the crafters.
10’ x 10’ spaces $53.00
(After April 12, 2010: fees INCREASE to $58.00 per space)
This is strictly an OUTSIDE show; NO ELECTRIC IS PROVIDED; E-Z Ups are recommended.
POLICY: All items must be handcrafted. “Crafters NEW” to the Les Artisans shows must include two (2) photos of items with application. ?? The Historical Society has decided to allow distributors, representatives, and those with quality retail items; they will be placed in an area together. ?? FOOD ITEMS: All food to be merchandised MUST be covered, no exceptions. In the past, the Kankakee Health Department has required a “one-day” permit to sell food items.
(PLEASE READ THE NEXT PARAGRAPH CAREFULLY)
All requests for particular booth sizes will be assigned on a “first-come, first-served” basis! ALL SPACES WILL BE ASSIGNED.
BOOTH RESERVATION: You are urged to apply immediately as spaces fill quickly.
(A “wait list” is implemented! If a situation arises and you KNOW you have to cancel, I urge you to call early so any empty spaces can be filled – there are people WAITING for a spot!) NOTE: Special requests will be honored as long as applications are received EARLY. The returning crafter deadline is Feb. 15, 2010. (You may post-date your check for Feb. 15, 2010.) (Booth assignments may be altered to improve ‘fluid’ flow of traffic.) ALL applications are due by APRIL 12, 2010. (Again, if you do not get your application in early, PLEASE don’t expect that I can honor special requests of any kind !!!)
PLEASE INCLUDE A SELF-ADDRESSED, STAMPED (84¢, 4”x9” business size) ENVELOPE TO RECEIVE CONFIRMATION and FLYERS. You can expect a confirmation letter in the mail soon after the deadline date(s), if not before. If you do NOT send a SASE… you will NOT receive confirmation materials!
BOOTH SIZES: ALL booths will be 10’ x 10’. As stated earlier, this is strictly an OUTSIDE show. NO electric is available. An E-Z UP or covering will be up to each individual. NO TABLES AND CHAIRS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED.
LUNCH: Will be available as long as a provider is secured.
REFUND POLICY: All reservations are non-refundable.
DAY OF SHOW: Set-up will begin at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 8. Helpers will be around to give directions if needed. The Historical Society will furnish coffee, juice and doughnuts to the crafters. Crafter parking will be in a designated area. After the show, all persons and items must vacate the area by 5:00 p.m. Please leave all booth areas clean; vendors MUST remove all of their trash or may not be allowed to return for future shows.
BOY SCOUTS: Depending on availability, Boy Scouts/Cub Scouts may be available for help in set-up and take-down stages.
